PATIENT ADVOCATE
Patient Advocates create a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for our patients. They conduct brief intakes, facilitate a smooth appointment flow, support the Licensed Medical team during the ultrasound exams, and provide spiritual encouragement by sharing the love of God.

Women, 21 years old and above, who have a heart for saving women and babies from abortion.

Willing to commit to serving for at least 1 year after completion of the training.

Standard shifts are 4 hours once a week minimum.

Training includes online video modules, an overview of CPC history, education on scripture and abortion, guided practice with scripts and printed materials, hands-on experience, and instruction in using the electronic records system.

PARENTING MENTOR
Encourage and support women and their partners as they learn about pregnancy, parenting, and life skills. Build trusting relationships that open doors to share Jesus. Help deliver parenting and pregnancy classes through video streaming, group sessions,
or one-on-one mentoring.

Women, 21 years and older, with a heart for saving women and babies from abortion by supporting, encouraging, and equipping expectant and new parents through education and relationship building.

Should be able to commit to serving for at least a year after completion of the training.

Standard shifts are four hours for in center mentoring, commitments for leading/supporting group classes will vary.

Training includes shadowing, observation, printed materials, online video and activities, and training on use of electronic streaming platform and use of records system.

LICENSED MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Perform limited obstetric ultrasound to confirm pregnancy placement, viability, and dating. Discuss pregnancy plans, concerns, and provide education. Provide STI testing and treatment. Provide Abortion Pill Reversal treatment.

Standard shifts are four hours.

Willing to commit to serving for at least 2 years after completion of the training.

Must possess Alaska licensure as a RN, APRN, PA, MD or DO.

Training includes shadowing, observation, printed materials, online video and activities, and training on use of electronic records system.

Must successfully complete training and certification in Limited OB Ultrasound from an accepted trainer as coordinated by CPC Staff.

Additional requirements, certifications and training required to perform ultrasound at CPC. (These will be discussed during your information session.)

MINI DEPOT ASSOCIATE
Processes and prepares Mini Depot donations, stocks items, and assists moms and dads-to-be as they shop in the Mini Depot.

Women, 21 years and older, with a heart for serving and who enjoy organizing things and helping shoppers access the items they need.

Should be able to commit to serving for at least a year after completion of the training.

Standard shifts are three to four hours.

Training includes shadowing, observation, online video and activities, and training on the Point of Sale system.

INTERMITTENT FACILITY SUPPORT
Occasional yardwork and landscaping, small facility projects.

On call and/or seasonal.
-
No specific training required.

Opportunities range from leading a subcommittee, being a part of a subcommittee, or helping the day of the event. There are a variety of roles available!

CHURCH CONNECTOR
CPC does not exist without churches! Help connect your church to CPC by becoming a church connector. Spread the word around church, on social media, and with friends about CPC. Encourage attendance and participation at our events. Help facilitate connections with pastoral staff and church leaders.
