Compassionate Support for Women Facing Unplanned Pregnancy

The Community Pregnancy Center exists to be a first step for women facing an unplanned pregnancy. We work to transform a woman's fear into confidence by addressing physical, emotional, and spiritual needs while equipping women to make healthy, life-affirming decisions. We believe that every woman deserves compassion, truthful information, and the support necessary to navigate this critical time with hope and clarity.

A Legacy of Care Since 1984

Community Pregnancy Center was founded in 1984 as the Crisis Pregnancy Center, Inc., by a group of 24 churches, pastors and individuals in Anchorage. They wanted to see the number of abortions in the state decline by offering compassion and help to women facing unplanned pregnancies. We’ve been through quite a few transitions since then. In 2013 we moved from our old building on Boniface Street to our current center at 4231 Lake Otis Parkway. We also changed names from Crisis Pregnancy Center to CPC Pregnancy Center,

and later became Community Pregnancy Center.

What We Do

Comprehensive, No-Cost Services for Women and Families Across Alaska

We provide a wide range of services to the women and families in Anchorage and other parts of Alaska. These include pregnancy testing, ultrasounds, options consultations, testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections, Abortion Pill Reversal, parenting classes, material assistance, post abortion healing, and more.  All services are provided at no cost.

Empowering Women with Clarity, Hope and Resources

Our work is guided by a desire to empower women through education, encouragement, and access to additional resources. We meet each woman where she is and allow the Holy Spirit to guide her decision. We never tell a woman what decision to make, instead we show her she is not alone and that she has the tools and resources to continue her pregnancy to be a parent or make an adoption plan.
